There are many great Prague hotels to consider when making your travel arrangements in the Czech Republic. First, though, you have to determine what kind of establishment you are looking for. Among considerations when you are planning a European trip is the price, as well as the type hotel you want to patronize. Some travelers what a luxury hotel and can afford such an establishment. Others want to stay somewhere historic, and still others want only to be close to the tourist spots or heart of town.
First, check out Prague hotels like the House at the Golden Scissors, located only 50 meters from the famous Charles Bridge, or the Bishop’s House, located at Mala Strana in the neighborhood of the Charles Bridge as well.Next, good choices include the House at the Red Lion, a Prague hotel located in the historic Lesser Town below the Prague Castle. Other Prague hotels also in the lesser town worth checking out include the Golden Star, and Hotel at the Golden Cross. The House at the Yellow Shoe is a good choice if you’re looking for a unique small historical hotel, and exemplifies the special historic places you can find if you are a savvy trip planner. Most of the best Prague hotels are located within walking distance of great attractions in the city. These include the Charles Bridge, with hotels nearby like the House at the Golden Scissors and Bishop’s House mentioned above, as well as the Domus Balthasar. Finding affordable Prague hotels is much easier if you stay in the city during the off season. Peak season is from April through October, and also around the New Year. Seek out the off season, either early in the year, or around the Christmas holidays. This is a good time to find available rooms and a bargain. |
