Most phone and cable companies offer some sort of broadband service and they normally offer a discount if you are currently using another one of their services. This method can save a lot of money and should be looked into thoroughly.Also compare the name of the ISP offering the broadband service. Some of the newer companies can be good but may not be around when you really need them. It is a good idea to check them out with the Better Business Bureau for any complaints that are recurring or that have never been addressed. This is also a good idea for those companies that have been around for a while. Also ask around for the type of services that your friends or family might be using.
