The technology of broadband phones, PC to PC phones, and any other type of alternative phone service is growing in popularity almost by the day. As with any new technology, a lot of misinformation seems to float around these cable modem phones. For instance, many people will use broadband phone and VoIP as synonyms for each other, but that is simply not the case. The truth is that there is an important distinction to be made.
