Where To Find A Commercial Deep Fryer Print E-mail
Saturday, 04 August 2007
Many people own or at least have used a personal deep fryer. Some of us love to deep fry our food so much that we contemplate going into business with some of our own recipes. However, the problem presents itself quickly: a personal deep fryer will not do! We need to find a commercial deep fryer. Commercial deep fryers are used in almost every fast food restaurant. Whether they are making fries to go with their burgers, fish and hush puppies, or even onion rings and fried mozzarella sticks, a commercial deep fryer is required.

Even higher classed restaurants own their own commercial deep fryer for making Monte Cristo sandwiches, onion blossoms and world famous donuts. Now we want to join the proud business owners and purchase our own commercial deep fryer. But where should we start: online or offline? My recommendation is start offline. Open up your phone-book and look for restaurant equipment. You may even find recycled or used restaurant equipment sellers who will make a great deal with you, as well as show you how to use your new commercial deep fryer.

If you do not have one of these in your region, or if you cannot find one, then look up your favorite restaurant's corporate office. Ask to speak to someone about their equipment and appliances. If you are polite and explain that you are looking to purchase a used commercial deep fryer in good condition, they may recommend someone to you to contact. They may even have some used commercial deep fryers available that they need to sell for a quick profit.

After contacting and/or visiting these, if you still have no luck finding your commercial deep fryer, it is time to come online. Go to the search engine of your choice and type in with quotes “commercial deep fryer” and check out the sites selling them. For an advanced trick, add a plus sign and then your state or province. This will tell you if there is anyone in your local area that sells commercial deep fryers. Remember this simple rule of thumb: if they are in your local area, you can receive the commercial deep fryer quicker and at a cheaper shipping rate.

Finally, one last bit of advice: If you want to be trained on using your brand of commercial deep fryer, ask the seller if they can personally show you. If they cannot, ask if there is a video or DVD that they can provide that shows you what you need to know. If even this does not work, a final attempt is to ask the manager of your local fast food restaurant if you can work for free for a week being trained on their commercial deep fryer. The manager should not turn this amazing offer down, and you will be glad for the needed experience.
