You just purchased your surround sound system. You’ve unpacked and studied the instruction manual carefully: simple enough. You’ve decided on the placement of your center speaker, the front right and front left speakers. The subwoofer was no challenge to place properly. You’ve run into a problem, though. The rear right and rear left speaker cables are two feet too short. You’re faced with options: rearrange your furniture, or purchase a set of custom audio cables. After all, improperly placing these speakers will just not do.
You take a trip to your local electronics store and find that there are a limited number of options available to you. Generally, audio cables purchased will be found in pre-cut form: limiting your options in cable length. Of course, this will not do either. So, you go online to find your custom audio cables. Online you find numerous resources available to you. The possibilities seem limitless for your custom audio cables. The transparent audio cables are appealing. Equally appealing are the color options. Yet, with all the technology there’s no living human available to answer your questions. After checking the yellow pages, you find the address and phone number and take a trip. When you arrive at the store you find several knowledgeable sales people. Here you receive all of the answers to your questions and recommendations for the type of custom audio cables you’ll need. The salesman even offers to install your custom audio cables: for a price. Unwilling to pay the higher price, you return home. After mulling it over, you remember the advice you were given by that salesman. With that information handy you go online once again. Online you find that with the knowledge you’ve obtained that you’re questions are limited. Going back through the options, you settle on the perfect setup. The only question you have left are: how much does it cost, and can I get my custom audio cables overnighted? |
