There are a few items to remember in the current market for project management jobs. Corporations are getting very picky about who they hire, and most will only consider job applicants with at least 90% of the credentials listed on the job posting. If you have less job experience or skills, you will probably not be considered for the job.

Companies will look locally, before they hire someone who has to be relocated. Recruiters have more clients than they can manage, and many of them have developed online systems to process resumes. When you follow their system you will improve your chances to get the job you really want. You are entered into their database, and this is the first place a recruiter will look when they have a new search.
