There are several learning institutions with programs that will lead to a project management degree. If you are looking for certification in project management, you will be able to obtain a certificate at the same learning facility, but you will not make the money you would make if you receive a degree. Remember, the higher the degree, the higher the salary. Online bachelor degree, master’s degree, and certificate programs in project management, and leadership and project management are available through accredited colleges and universities.

Engineering managers earned and estimated $102,600, and job openings in this category will increase more than 9% by 2012.

Certificate in Project Management for IT Professionals: This certificate program offers an overview of information systems, their role in an organization, and their relationship to the structure and objectives of an organization. The exploration of planning, controlling, and scheduling of a system project during the process. A survey of techniques to improve the efficiency and productivity of procedures and practices in the workplace is included.

Graduate Certificate in Project Management: This course is designed to facilitate the application of skills critical in modern project management in both the public and private sector. These in-depth courses help students develop the skills and know-how needed for the effective management of different types of projects.

This is one college of several hundred that offer certificate programs and degrees through a Master’s in project management. Do a search online and see just how many learning institutions you will be able to choose from.
