Government grants are given away by the millions in the United States annually. Billions of dollars from government grants and their affiliated agencies are given away but the problem is that most Americans do not know they even exist or how to go about getting the information that is pertinent to getting one of these grants. The government grants can be used for any good cause including educational expenses or starting a new business. Private foundations and government grant programs will give away literally billions of dollars this year alone.
The requirements in obtaining a government grant are not as specific as they would be if one applied at a bank. The best news is that the government grants are non taxable and interest free! Once you have decided what it is that you will use the money for and it is legal, of course, and meets the guidelines of the agency then you get the money and never have to pay it back. Government grants are a gift that allows you to put yourself, the American citizen, in a better position to fulfill the American dream and get yourself a piece of the pie. Even if you have bad credit, filed bankruptcy, or have no cosigner or collateral, it will not matter, the government grants are available regardless of your credit history or lack of thereof. The only qualifications are that you are a taxpayer and a United States citizen. This money is available for personal and business growth, which is necessary for overall economic growth. So much money is never used each year and is returned to its place of origin. This is a result of people not being educated about funding and grants that are available to them. These grants are never advertised so many people are still unaware of their existence. Each year the kitty gets filled up again so the money has to go to someone. Government grants are not in the form of a check that is mailed directly to you. An award letter will be sent to you upon approval and the money would then be sent to wherever it is that you are planning to use the grant. The grants can be anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Many agencies have the right information and can point you in the right direction to get started applying for your government grant. |
