It’s not going to do you any good to write a lot of Google AdWords ads and then have to either not get much get traffic (so you wasted your time) or not get much conversion from the traffic that you do get (so that you have wasted money). You can’t afford to waste either time or money. Google AdWords have great power to make you money, but only if you are wise in writing and using them.
When you write you AdWords ads, you need to make sure that you not selling your company’s features, but instead are using features to sell your company’s benefits. People do not buy features; they buy benefits (except for males in hardware or electronics shops). In your ads, clearly spell out at least one great benefit that you alone can offer, or you alone are the very best at delivering. Can you make people more money? Can you prevent the negative effects of aging? Can you offer eternal life? Make yourself someone who is special. You need to use words and phrases in your ads that are real attention-getters. Everybody likes things that are “new” and “free”. Everybody is intrigued by things that are “not available elsewhere” or “never before seen anywhere”. The words that you use need to invoke feelings of enthusiasm and make people want to take action. Use call-to-action phrases and power words to bring these feelings out. At once make sure that these phrases and words have specific things to do with your business. What is your unique selling position or USP? You have to be as unique as possible in sales and marketing. What makes you the only place that a person can go to get what you have to offer? Whatever it is, figure it out and put it in your AdWords ads. Don’t be afraid to talk about price. By talking about price, you filter out the “free stuff” seekers and have higher conversion ratios because you only get serious prospects to come. |
